PULLED-IN-PLACE PLASTER FLUTES AND POLISHED PLASTER WALLS
This elegant New York City apartment boasts views of the Hudson River, allowing unobstructed late afternoon light to stream through the windows and set the polished plaster walls aglow. SuperStrata artisan Patrick Shoemaker installed this particular plaster finish, which is perfect for reflecting light and warmth around the room, making the living space designed by ASR Studios come alive.
In the home’s powder room, Joseph Vance Architects wanted to feature a polished pulled-in-place fluted plaster wall adjacent to the custom Taj Mahal stone sink, which creates variety in texture and depth. These one-of-a-kind finishes were the result of the creative dialogue shared by SuperStrata, ASR Studios, and Joseph Vance Architects in a spirited joint collaboration.
