Helmed by Patrick Shoemaker, a decorative artist with nearly twenty years of experience, NYC Decorative Arts specializes in a wide range of custom interior and exterior finishing techniques using a vast array of paints and plasters.


Some of these techniques include lime plasters and paints such as Marmorino, Tadelakt, hand-brushed mineral paints, mirror-like polished plaster, metal plaster, and pulled-in-place flutes in a variety of finishes. Their other areas of expertise include gilding, hand-painted floors, and decorative paint finishes.


Patrick is a true professional artisan and exhibits this in the most intricate of details. He and his team are dedicated to creating handmade finishesthat add an undeniable element of beauty to every space they touch.
